1. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel your TaskRight subscription at any time with no cancellation fee:

• Through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from your TaskRight billing page. Click "Manage billing" → "Cancel subscription".
• By emailing partner@taskright.ae from the email address registered to your account.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing cycle. You keep full access to Platform features — including receiving leads — until that date. You will not be billed again.

2. Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun. This is because the subscription is paid in advance for the right to appear on the Platform and receive leads during that cycle, regardless of how many leads are actually received.

We grant refunds only in the following exceptional circumstances:

• Duplicate or erroneous charge — if Stripe charged the same invoice twice or charged the wrong amount, we will refund the duplicate or excess amount in full.
• Fraudulent use — if a payment was made from your card without your authorisation, contact us immediately. We will refund the charge after verification, and you should also contact your card issuer.
• Platform outage — if the Platform is materially unavailable for a sustained period due to our fault (more than seven consecutive days), we will credit or refund a pro-rated portion of your subscription for the affected period on request.
• Legal obligation — where a refund is required by applicable UAE consumer protection or tax law.

We do not issue refunds for:

• low lead volume, low conversion rate, or dissatisfaction with leads received;
• a decision to leave the Platform before the end of the current billing cycle;
• failure to log in, update your profile, or respond to leads during the billing cycle;
• changes in your own business circumstances (temporary closure, staff shortages, licence expiry).

3. Trial periods

If you were offered a free trial, you are not charged during the trial period. The trial converts automatically to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends. If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged at all.

4. How to request a refund

To request a refund under one of the circumstances above:

1. Email partner@taskright.ae within 14 days of the charge you are disputing.
2. Include the date and amount of the charge, the last 4 digits of the card used, and a brief description of the reason.
3. We will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and resolve the request within 14 days of receipt.
4. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe and typically arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.

5. Termination by TaskRight

If we terminate your account for cause (for example, breach of the Terms of Service, falsified credentials, or harm to a Consumer), no refund is due for the current billing cycle. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund the pro-rated unused portion of the current billing cycle.

6. VAT

Subscription prices shown in the Platform are inclusive of UAE Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate (currently 5%), unless stated otherwise. VAT is reflected on the invoice generated by Stripe.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Changes apply only to billing cycles that begin on or after the effective date.
