This Cookie Policy explains how 800 Business L.L.C-FZ (trading as "TaskRight", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website at taskright.ae. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A "cookie" is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners. In this Policy we also use "cookies" as a shorthand for other tracking technologies such as web beacons, pixels and local storage.
2. Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the Platform to function. They support session handling, authentication, security (CSRF protection) and load balancing. You cannot disable these without breaking the Platform.
- XSRF-TOKEN, taskright_session — session and CSRF protection (first-party)
- cookie_consent — remembers your cookie choices (first-party)
Functional
These remember choices you make to improve your experience — for example your city filter, last-used category, or language preference.
Analytics
We use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the Platform so we can improve it. These cookies collect aggregated, pseudonymised data — for example, which pages are most visited, which search terms are used, and how users move between pages. Analytics cookies are loaded only after you consent.
- Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*, _gid) — provided by Google LLC. See Google's privacy policy.
Advertising and remarketing
We use advertising cookies to show you TaskRight ads on other websites and social platforms, and to measure whether those ads led to a visit or signup. These cookies are loaded only after you consent.
- Meta Pixel (_fbp) — provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. See Meta's privacy policy.
- Google Ads (IDE, DSID, _gcl_au) — provided by Google LLC.
- Reddit Pixel (Canadian market only) — provided by Reddit, Inc.
Payment processor
When Providers proceed to subscription checkout, our payment processor Stripe sets cookies for fraud prevention and to maintain the checkout session. Stripe's use of cookies is governed by its own privacy policy.
3. Your choices
When you first visit TaskRight you will see a cookie banner. You can accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose categories. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page.
You can also control cookies directly in your browser — most browsers allow you to view, delete and block cookies. Consult your browser's help pages (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) for instructions. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the Platform.
Tip:If you reject analytics and advertising cookies, TaskRight still works fully. You just won't see tailored ads and we won't be able to measure campaign performance from your visit.
4. How long cookies stay on your device
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain for a set duration — typically up to 12 months for analytics and up to 13 months for advertising cookies. The exact duration is set by the provider of each cookie.
5. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or to comply with new laws. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
